Primal Carnage: Extinction is a game that many people will instantly love simply for its original action and dinosaur-themed villains, and it includes many different game types for players who want an immersive experience with a lot of depth.

This game is one of the most popular dinosaur-based games of its type, and despite its incredible popularity as a subject, there aren't many games that tend to tackle this genre. Jurassic Park first set the precedent years ago with an iconic movie experience that has scarcely been replicated since the original, but this game brings back that same feeling from an interactive perspective.

The idea behind this game is simple enough. The main character has traveled to a far-away island where dinosaurs were genetically engineered from their ancient remains, and several of them have escaped and are causing mayhem on the island. The player will have to counter the threat before the situation becomes insurmountable.

In Primal Carnage: Extinction, players operate a hunter who has been brought to the island to exterminate a threat against the overarching operation, but survival quickly becomes one of the most important aspects. There are five classes that each have their own set of skills that can aid in the hunting and elimination of the reptilian threat.

Humans can also use traps and specialized equipment to hunt the dinosaurs, but the game certainly isn't one-sided. Dinosaurs in this game have many different abilities and skills they can use to detect traps, avoid weapons, and attack humans. As the dinosaur threat becomes more grave, the player will have to get more creative to come out victorious.

One of the best features of Primal Carnage: Extinction is that players can also elect to play as a dinosaur character, and that allows them to use those special abilities and skills to destroy the human hunters that are trying to kill all the dinosaurs. The freedom to play as either a dinosaur or human character is amazing in this game.

Another amazing facet of this game is that players can enjoy either single player or multiplayer modes. Single player games allow the user to test their mettle against wave after wave of bloodthirsty dinosaurs, and there is also a multiplayer Survival mode that allows teams of two to operate in the same style. If you have a group of at least six players, you can create a game that will have five human hunters working to kill one dinosaur controlled by the sixth player.

There is a surprising amount of content in Primal Carnage: Extinction, and the majority of the game's appeal comes from the different game types and multiplayer options. With so many different ways to play this game, it certainly represents a good investment. Unfortunately, this game is not free to play, but players will not regret the cost once they see how addictive the gameplay can be.
